We appreciate Kurtis Gregory coming to our assembly this week and for meeting with about 20 athletes that are interested in athletics at the collegiate level! He shared his personal journey and what it takes to be successful at the next level.

Grades 5-12 will participate in a Suicide Prevention assembly and activities next week (9/9-13). Letters were sent home with details. Parents/community members are welcome to attend. If you want your child to opt out of the activities, contact your school by Monday at 8:00 a.m.

Pictured are Advanced Horticulture students, Nathan Neil and Kaylee Drunert, pinching the large Poinsettia plants on August 23rd in the school greenhouse. The purpose of this is to remove the terminal bud and it forces the plant to go out and not up, making it more eye appealing. The advanced students pinched while the Horticulture 1 students planted the new shipment of small poinsettias.
