At the 5th General session of the 96th Missouri State FFA Convention August received a plaque for being selected to represent Area VI as the Star Farmer Candidate. Pictured with him are his parents Phillip and Amy Giffen and his FFA Advisor, Martha Schreiman.

Tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 pm, Student Council is sponsoring a talent show, showcasing students from each class, chosen by their classmates. Anyone is welcome to attend.

Congratulations to Molly Malter for receiving a Missouri Youth in Agriculture Scholarship. This award is based on the candidates involvement in the Missouri State Fair. Molly was awarded this scholarship at the first session of the 96th Missouri State FFA Convention in Columbia, MO at the Hearnes Center.
