Agriculture Department plant sale starts today! 3:30-6:30 at the greenhouse. Tomorrow 3:30-6:30 also!

Pictured are agricultural students and FFA members in the Santa Fe Agriculture Department with the Auto Darkening helmet they were able to purchase from being selected as a 2024 Vahrenberg Implement Grow Agriculture Grant- County FFA Grant Program. This was a $500 grant for anything needed for the agricultural department or FFA chapter. Advisor Martha Schreiman completed the application and was selected. These helmets will be used for upper level Agriculture Construction classes. Pictured is Ava Schmidt helping Houston Hemme fill a window box with soil. This was in preparation to plant the newly installed window boxes along the Trinity Early Childhood Center. The Santa Fe Horticulture Department partnered with Trinity to plant these boxes along with preschool students in their program. The event was a great success! All students worked together and the boxes turned out beautiful!


Pictured is August Giffen shooting at the 2024 Paul Larson State FFA Trapshoot in Linn Creek, MO. Giffen, along with Parker Finkeldei and Sierra Hartman shot together for Santa Fe FFA. The team each shot 100 rounds in 25 round increments. It was wet and soggy, but no rain while competing which was appreciated by many! There were over 1,000 trapshooters at this event. This was the last FFA Trapshooting event for August as he is a senior.

Pictured is Kaylee Drunert, Santa Fe FFA member who was selected to be a member of the Missouri State FFA Choir. Kaylee submitted an application, with recommendations from her high school choir teacher being a large part of the selection process. Drunert extensively practiced with the choir Thursday and Friday of convention and then performed four selections with the choir at the pre-session of the 5th General Session of the 96th Missouri State FFA Convention.


Friday's softball game at St. Paul has been moved to Thursday, April 25th at 4:30pm (due to forecasted weather).
