Along with showing Swine Molly is also the Area VI Secretary and had officer duties at the fair as part of her officer position. Molly's interview was live on KMMO that day. This is a great way to learn public speaking skills to become comfortable in that environment.

Karlea placed 1st with her Senior Doe, 4th with her Junior Doe, 3rd with her Junior Doe, 1st with her Yearling Doe, and 2nd place with her Market Goat.

Karlea placed 1st with her Ram and she was also Breed Champion. She placed 1st with her Yearling Ewe and was also the Reserve Breed Champion. Sophia had the Grand Champion Suffolk Ewe, 2nd place with her Yearling Ewe, Reserve Suffolk Ram, and 2nd place with her Market Lamb. It was a great day in the Sheep ring for the Bolser girls!

Karlea had a great night in the arena placing 3rd in Showmanship, 4th in Bareback, 3rd in Horsemanship, 3rd in Western Pleasure, 3rd in Trail, 1st in Barrels, 1st in Poles, 2nd in Flags.

Santa Fe youth football camp this week has been canceled, due to a lack of interest.

Reminder-this week is dead week and there will be no activities/contact at the high school.

Pictured is Mia Lark sweeping the floor in the old gym in preparation for the new flooring to be laid at Santa Fe High School as part of her job duties as a summer custodial employee for her Service Learning SAE within the FFA. Mia has also helped clean out classrooms at the elementary and high school buildings and has also painted several days. Mia is a first year FFA member, the current Chapter Sentinel Officer, and the daughter of Derek and Gentry Lark of Alma.
Pictured is Sami Mueller skimming the pool while working at the Waverly Swim Club for her Service Learning SAE within the FFA. Sami is also in charge of sweeping the pool, checking chlorine and pH levels periodically throughout the day and her number one job of keeping swimmers safe while at the pool. Sami is a first year FFA member and the daughter of Adam and Becky Mueller of Grand Pass.

Kameron was selling an early variety of peaches that were ready along with apricots for her Fruit Production SAE within the FFA. Kameron will work there daily when more of their peaches are ready in mid July. Kameron is a three year FFA member and the daughter of Kirk and Kim Dankenbring of Waverly.

Keastin is also planning to help with harvest this fall and planting next spring. Keastin is a first year FFA member, the current Chapter Student Advisor Officer, and the daughter of Todd and Betsy Kitchen of Blackburn.

Luke also helps with cattle and many other fam duties as they come. Chesney reports these levels on a sheet each time she checks them and reports low levels to her manager. Chesney is a first year FFA member and the daughter of Scott and Kristin Warner of Waverly.

It was a successful week of youth Lady Chiefs Volleyball Camp! Coach Sander ran two camps with almost 40 campers attending. It was great to have our high school girls there to help show them the fundamentals and their Santa Fe Pride.

Santa Fe High School cheerleaders went to Oak Grove to the MSHSAA cheer camp. They learned new sideline and crowd cheers, stunts, and a dance. Coach Hunter attended MSHSAA coaches meetings and a refresher concussion course. The squad represented Santa Fe Pride the camp!
