Pictured is Kaylee Drunert, Santa Fe FFA member who was selected to be a member of the Missouri State FFA Choir. Kaylee submitted an application, with recommendations from her high school choir teacher being a large part of the selection process. Drunert extensively practiced with the choir Thursday and Friday of convention and then performed four selections with the choir at the pre-session of the 5th General Session of the 96th Missouri State FFA Convention.

Addyson Hostetter was also selected to perform with them but unfortunately she got sick and was unable to perform.

August went through an interview process April 13th for this award against the other 15 candidates from across the state. At the 5th General session of the 96th Missouri State FFA Convention August received a plaque for being selected to represent Area VI as the Star Farmer Candidate.
