The Santa Fe Music Department is raising funds to purchase more instruments and new choir risers. Stay warm and cozy while supporting the Santa Fe Music Department with our sweatshirt blankets, perfect for chilly weather or as a thoughtful gift. The sweatshirt blanket is made of fleece sweatshirt material, and is 50” by 60”. The blanket is a gray blanket with a Chief's arrow in the bottom left corner. Price: $35. Orders due: Money is due at the time of order. All orders will be turned in by November 11th. You can purchase through a Santa Fe HS Choir or Band Student or call the office. Payment: Please pay cash or check. Checks are payable to Santa Fe High School Pickup: Orders will be in by the end of first week of December-just in time for Christmas. We will send them home with the person you ordered them with, or you can contact me to pick it up at the High School. These blankets will make great Christmas gifts, so don’t miss out! On November 4th, the Santa Fe R-X School District welcomed over 400 educators from the I-70 Conference Schools for a day dedicated to collaboration and growth. The event kicked off with an inspiring keynote by Kevin Daniels, setting an energizing tone for the day. Following the keynote, teachers connected with peers teaching similar subjects, exchanging ideas and strategies. The day concluded with teacher-led breakout sessions, providing practical, peer-driven learning. It was a vibrant day of professional development, fostering connection and advancement in teaching.

Pictured are 8th Grade Exploratory Agriculture students with the Homemade Ice Cream that they made. Thy learned about the different types of processing and preservation techniques. Students enjoyed the ice cream after their hard work of shaking a cold bag with rock salt and ice to get their final product!

As a result of the Lady Chiefs's Final Four appearance and staffing issues, school will NOT be in session this Friday, 11/8, and will be made up on 2/17 (President's Day). Best of luck to our kids this weekend as they represent Santa Fe in Final Four volleyball and the 2nd round of districts in football!!!

Congratulations to our Student Council on winning District President of the Trails West District of the Missouri Association of Student Councils. Our students put together a campaign video and conducted several activities at the District meeting. Santa Fe will host the 2025 Trails West District meeting next fall!
