Day One

As we officially"kick off" our long distance learning, I want to remind all parents to check your email or Remind app often, as well as the school website for updates. We are currently in uncharted waters. However, the compassion and dedication I have seen from our families and educators on all levels is so impressive. Staff have been working to ensure that all students have the opportunity to continue to progress academically through all means necessary. This is going to be a learning process for us all, and I’m sure mistakes will be made, but that’s okay. We understand that’s when true learning takes place. This is the perfect opportunity for us as adults to model the importance of patience, persistence and grit.

I want to encourage all families that haven’t already done so to call the elementary office at 660-493-2811 to sign up for meal deliveries (breakfast and lunch). This is open to all of our students, at no charge.  We have bus routes running daily, which will deliver the meals to your door.
