MISSOURI COMPREHENSIVE GUIDANCE

Santa Fe R-X District has adopted the Missouri Comprehensive Guidance Program. The program allows for classroom guidance activities. Mrs. Kuntz visits with all classes one time per week to present lessons on personal/social development, academic development or career exploration. She is also available to students for group and individual counseling.

THERAPY FOR STUDENTS

In addition to the counseling services provided by Mrs. Kuntz, we are also able to provide therapy for students who are in need of this resource through the use of our School Based Therapist, Mrs. Knipmeyer. There is no cost to the family for this service. If you believe your child could benefit from the program please contact the elementary school and ask to speak to the school counselor.

D.A.R.E.

The Santa Fe Elementary provides the DARE program for our 5th grade students.  In addition to this program for our 5th graders, Lafayette County Sheriff's Deputy Heuser also makes weekly visits to the other grade levels to visit about DARE and to share other safety-related and anti-bullying information.
