Ronald McDonald House - Pop Tab Challenge: Alan Lubert with the Ronald McDonald House came to Santa Fe R-X to discuss the importance of saving pop-tabs.  Pop-tabs remind us of an important lesson:  even little things make a big difference.  We collect pop-tabs for three reasons: (1) recycling is good for the environment. (2) Pop-tabs help pay bills. In 2017, they recycled more than 13 tons and raised more than $15,000 from aluminum proceeds.  (3) Pop-tabs are friend-finders. Pop-tabs are worth more than the entire can because they are made of higher quality aluminum.

Please help us help the Ronald McDonald House.  In 2017 the Ronald McDonald House served over 7,325 families.  We currently have a Pop-Tab Challenge going on between classes.   If you would like to donate you can drop your tabs off at the high school, elementary school, or give to one of our students.  The challenge will end on April 30, but we encourage each of you to continue to save your tabs for this amazing organization.  Thank you for your continued support.
